What are the e-InFoLink system requirements?
All you need is an IBM compatible machine with sufficient capabilities running Windows 98 and higher. If you purchased your computer new in the last 3 years, you should have no problems using our online ordering system. However, keep in mind that modem speed, processor, and memory will impact how fast your particular system will perform.

Is there a minimum ordering level?
There is a minimum ordering level averaged per week. Please consult your IFD account representative for more information.

Why does it take so long to load, connect, or place orders?
Many factors will impact the speed with which you place orders on e-InFoLink. Type of connection (modem dial-up, ISDN line, DSL, cable modem, etc.), processor speed, memory, other programs running, the size of your order guide, even line noise or increased telephone traffic (for modem dial-up) can impact the speed with which you access our ordering system. Generally, if you purchased your computer new in the last 3 years, you should have no problem using e-InFoLink.

When can I receive training for e-InFoLink?
Your training can take place over the telephone as long as you can be on the telephone and the internet at the same time. We also have the capability of providing individual or group training at your business site. Just contact our e-InFoLink Specialist to schedule an appointment. In most cases, a training session can be scheduled as soon as you would like.

How long does training take?
The actual training takes between 15 minutes to an hour or so, depending on your computer knowledge.

How long do I have to wait before I can start using e-InFoLink?
As soon as your account has been set up on e-InFoLink, you can begin ordering! Generally, for current customers, 1 day is sufficient.

What are the benefits?
Enables you to place orders, look up new products, find product information, and print reports and order guides that are specific to your business. This can be done 24 hours a day, every day of the week when doing so is convenient for you.
