JOB TITLE: Administrative Support – Nutritional Services REPORTS TO: Nutritional Services Manager FLSA Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (some flexibility within these parameters) WAGE: $16+/hour, depending on relevant experience
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing administrative support to the Nutritional Services Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Maintain all files associated with the company Nutritional Services resource Portal.
Maintain electronic Customer records and contacts.
Maintain IFD Website Education Page and sales support resources.
Verifying and updating accurate and current nutritional information on the company website.
Organize and assist in the implementation of K12 marketing activities both virtual and live events.
Coordinate registration, billing, and materials for ServSafe classes and marketing activities.
Organize, cross reference and update Customer files related to sales and usage commitments.
Coordinate all K12 bookings, including coordination with Purchasing and Marketing.
Assist in the evaluation and set-up of new products to support our K12 program.
Communicate effectively with our K12 Team and Customers regarding all aspects of our School Services.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
WORK RELATIONSHIPS AND SCOPE: The K12 Program Assistant will have regular interactions with the Nutrition Services Manager, Purchasing, Marketing, and Sales departments, as well as Customers, vendors, and other office staff. All requirements are subject to change over time at the discretion of management.

EDUCATION LEVEL: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school, technical and/or college course work related to the job duties and knowledge/skills required for the position. Clerical/administrative support work experience may substitute for college or technical course work.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of administrative, office, and data entry procedures and practices.
General accounting knowledge and aptitude, including reconciliation competency.
Ability to interact well with as well as establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with staff, Customers, and suppliers.
Proficient at proof-reading, multi-tasking and organization; detail and deadline oriented.
Ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to stay focused with normal distractions and without distracting others.
Proficient in using standard office computer software (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word), as well as the Internet.
Knowledge of USDA and Child Nutrition, or willingness to learn.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment. There may be some variation in work hours due to special events, projects, deadlines, and other concerns. Some overnight travel may be required for events. Limited physical effort required. Very limited exposure to physical risk. Casual to professional attire as outlined by company policy.
