Job Title: Store Manager Department: Sales & Marketing Reports to: VP OF PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT FLSA Status: Exempt Wage: $60,000+, Dependent upon experience
Position Summary: This position is responsible for the sales and operation of the IFD Warehouse Store, The Market at IFD. Must be able to work cohesively with the Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, and Warehouse departments to guarantee the best possible service to our Customers. Interact directly with the Customers to ensure they receive optimal service. Supervise Store personnel to ensure service and budget goals are met.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop business strategies to raise our store traffic and optimize profitability
Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
Complete store administration and ensure compliance with company and store policies and procedures
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
Report on buying trends, customer needs, profitability and other KPI activities
Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs
Deal with all issues or concerns that arise from staff or customers
Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
Additional store manager duties as needed

Education Level: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school, technical and/or college course work related to the job duties and knowledge/skills required for the position. Clerical/administrative support work experience may substituted for required college or technical course work. ServSafe certification, or the willingness to obtain, is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Language skills, ability to read, analyze and interpret common and technical writings, financial reports and legal documents. Highly skilled use of the English language in written form. Strong vocabulary skills. Strong written reasoning ability. Must be able to produce error free work.
Mathematical skills, strong math skills and numeric reasoning abilities. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning ability, ability to define problems, collect, sort and relate data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Computer skills, ability to use a computer (laptop/desktop) and the software necessary to perform the essential functions of this job. Able to use all elements of Outlook, data base software, professional presentation software and CRM Software applications.
Appropriate Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Valid Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and acceptable auto insurance coverage.
Physical demands, the physical demand characteristics are those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions: Work is normally performed in a typical store environment. The IFD Market is usually maintained at average temperature, but the position requires entering multiple coolers and walk-in freezer for short periods of time. The store is generally clean, organized, and free flowing. Typical hours of work will vary Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. Special events throughout the year will require additional days and hours as needed. Includes working independently and as part of a team. Uniform attire as outlined by company policy.
