JOB TITLE: Business Coordinator – Contract Customers DEPARTMENT: Sales and Marketing REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales and Marketing FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY The core objective of this position is the coordination of activities supporting IFD’s contract Customers including both Operations and Administrative Office representation. This is a critical and highly competitive business segment; therefore, the position requires an individual with strong administrative abilities along with the ability to collaborate with staff across multiple departments. The objectives are to maintain relationships with existing contract Customers and to assist in the development of new Contract business opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING Existing Customer Support
Successfully maintaining Customer relationships is the measure of success for this position.
Utilize CRM Software applications to manage all aspects of the business relationship including maintaining and communicating both internally and to the Customers KPI levels, opportunities and service exceptions.
Perform Customer reviews to ensure contract compliance by both the Customer and IFD.
Direct Customer contact to maintain the business relationship specific to the products and services offered by IFD and required by the Customer.
Coordinate IFD Staff resolving problems associated with Customer products and service exceptions, including direct Customer contact when needed.
In conjunction with Sales Administration, evaluate and recommended special programs, promotions, and new product ideas as warranted by competitive activity and operator needs.
Maintain a consistent line of communication with Purchasing based upon known changes of or potential Customer usage.
Maintain a professional Company image, including office and personal appearance.
Perform customer support activities in coordination with the Customer Service Department.
Other duties as assigned.
Potential Business Growth
Identify and research new business and sales growth opportunities.
Utilize CRM Software applications to manage all aspects of business development including the process of lead, to prospect, to Customer.
Assist in preparing written price proposals to Customers, both new and existing for renewal.
QUALIFICATIONS
Language skills: ability to read, analyze and interpret common and technical writings, financial reports and legal documents. Highly skilled use of the English language in written form. Strong vocabulary skills. Strong written reasoning ability. Must be able to produce error-free work.
Organizational skills: the ability to use your time energy and resources in an effect way so you can achieve the established objectives.
Mathematical skills: basic math skills and numeric reasoning abilities. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning ability: ability to define problems, collect, sort and relate data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Computer skills: ability to use a computer (laptop/desktop) and the software necessary to perform the essential functions of this job. Practical experience with Outlook, Excel, video conferencing, data base software, professional presentation software and CRM Software applications.
Ability to effectively adapt to last minute changes and time constraints.
Valid Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and acceptable auto insurance coverage.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. Work will be performed in a typical interior office environment. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Hours may vary depending on needs of the business, special projects, etc.
EDUCATION LEVEL BS Business Degree or equivalent work experience. Recent graduates encouraged to apply
