Job Title: Receiving Dock Helper           
Reports to: Receiving Supervisor 
Shift/Hours: Full Time, Sunday through Friday 4 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. or Done. 
(rotating day off when scheduled on Sunday)
Wage: $15.79/hour.  Time and a half for any hours worked on Sunday.
Now offering an Attendance Incentive; earn an additional $2.78/hour!

​Position Summary:  The Dock Helper is responsible for ensuring inventory is received, processed, and organized accurately and efficiently.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: ​Scan delivered items and ensure quality; stage for put-away.

Performance Measures:

• Meet IFD standards for speed and accuracy.
• Performance of safe work practices and proper equipment use; including the quality of pallets being built structurally, meeting guidelines for safe food handling, using proper lifting techniques, and operating equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintenance of sanitary environment.
• Meet deadlines while meeting IFD standards.          
• Perform as a team player.
• Contribution towards meeting and furthering IFD goals.
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance in accordance with company policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Forklift certification, or willingness and ability to obtain.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Lift 30 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in refrigerated 28- 45 degree and freezer 0 degree, temperatures.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently.
• Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory.
• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, bend, twist, and climb during the course of the shift.

Working Conditions:  Work is performed in the warehouse, coolers and freezers; temperatures may vary. Hard-toe footwear and temperature appropriate attire is required.
