Job Title: Store Runner/Material Handler Support Reports to: Market Store Manager Shift/Hours: Full time; available Monday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m - 3:00 p.m. Wage is $15.00/hour
Position Summary: Responsible for material handling, inventory cycle counts, inventory verification, product inspection, product rotation, and product packaging within a store and warehouse setting. This individual must maintain a high standard in taking care of Customer’s needs, both in person and on the phone. This position works directly with the Customers, Foodservice Consultants, Inside Sales Reps, IFD Sales Reps, and Warehouse personnel within a store setting.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory by inspecting, identifying, labeling, and packing products for stock.
Keep the store fully stocked, labeled, and rotated.
Prepare finished orders shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading, and securing product.
Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying products listed on sales orders.
Train for and follow appropriate software usage for inventory management. (NetSuite)
Receive credit-returns products recording lot number and quantity.
Cycle count product being returned from the store.
Operate material-handling equipment, following safety policies and procedures.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Act as back-up to other employees, performing duties as directed.
Conduct yourself in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
Take direction from supervisor and complete tasks on time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs to all levels; ability to stand for extended periods of time; ability to carry and transfer products; ability to use a two-wheeled hand truck or four-wheeled cart; ability to bend, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach; ability to withstand occasional temperature variations (freezer).
Average or better math skills.
Good verbal and written communication, including verbal & written English fluency.
An ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people, including difficult ones.
Be calm in nature under time pressure and stress.
Complete tasks accurately and quickly.
Must participate in and pass fork-lift certification training.
Complete all yearly warehouse trainings relating to position (Forklift, SDS, Lifting, Warehouse Practices and Procedures.)
Must possess valid driver’s license and have good driving history.
Working Conditions: Time will be split between the Store and Warehouse. The position requires entering multiple coolers and walk-in freezer for short periods of time; appropriate attire is required. Pre-employment background check (criminal and MVR) and drug panel are required.
