Job Title: Will Call Coordinator Reports to: Market Store Manager Rate:Wage is $13.00-13.50/hour Shift/Hours: 35-40 hours per week, available during store hours below. Hours: The Market at IFD is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining a high standard in taking care of customer's needs, both in person and on the phone. This position works directly with the Customers, Foodservice Consultants, Inside Sales Representatives, Sales Force, Office, and Warehouse personnel in a store setting.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist customer by answering questions, giving them direction or advice in person or on the phone and taking product orders.
Check out people at the cash register by providing prompt and courteous service.
Keep the store fully stocked, labeled, and rotated.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Take special orders and follow through to completion with the customer.
Maintain a clean, dusted, and well-organized store.
Keep register area organized and supplied: bags, boxes, register tape, cash on hand, etc.
Communicate any problems or concerns to the store manager.
Efficiently use the computer and inventory books for resources.
Assist in the overall operation of the store to ensure a comfortable, professional atmosphere for our customers.
Help customers carry purchases to their vehicles.
Provide reasonable accommodations to individuals in need.
Back up to other duties as directed.
Conduct yourself in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
Take direction from supervisor and complete tasks on time.
Work Relationships and Scope: Service to all customer's needs when they visit the store or call on the telephone. All requirements are subject to change over time at the discretion of management.
Performance Measures: Demonstrated contribution to a friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable store atmosphere. Although you are not solely responsible for these key areas of the store's success, you are expected to be an active team member in addressing them. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance in accordance with company policy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 25 pounds to all levels; ability to stand for extended periods of time; ability to carry and transfer products.
Average or better math skills; able to make accurate change for customers.
Good verbal and written communication, including verbal and written English fluency.
Comfortable using a variety of programs on a computer and cash register.
Ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people, including difficult ones.
Be calm in nature under time pressure and stress.
Complete tasks accurately and quickly.
Willingness to train in food handling and safety.
Valid Driver's License and good driving history are required.
Working Conditions: The Market at IFD is usually maintained at average temperature, but the position requires entering multiple coolers and walk-in freezer for short periods of time. The store is generally clean, organized, and free flowing.
